This class is rooted in the understanding that stress and unresolved tension don’t just live in our thoughts, they live in our muscles, our breath, and our nervous system.
Yoga offers us a way to build strength, mobility, and awareness through conscious movement and breath. Flowing sequences help mobilize areas where stress tends to accumulate, hips, shoulders, jaw, and spine, while also cultivating steadiness and presence.
TRE® (Tension & Trauma Release), works with the body’s innate tremoring response, a natural reflex that helps discharge stored tension. These gentle, neurogenic tremors are something we’re biologically wired for, yet often suppress. When safely guided, they can help the nervous system shift out of chronic fight-or-flight patterns and into deeper regulation.
What to Expect:
We begin with grounding and breath-work to establish safety and connection.
Move into a mindful yoga flow, sometimes slow and strengthening, sometimes fluid and spacious, designed to prepare the body for release.
Transition into specific TRE® positions to invite natural tremoring in a supported way.
Close with integration and rest, allowing the body to settle and recalibrate.
You remain in control at all times. There is no pressure to “make something happen.” The focus is on choice, pacing, and honoring your own capacity.
